About Us
Paul and I met during our years at Lakeshore High School in Stevensville Michigan. We were married in 1998 and moved to Sicily with the US Navy that summer. We spent 4 years in Sunny Signoella Sicily, then moved to Virginia Beach VA in 2002 where we purchased our first bulldog. In March of 2003 we met Diane Black at the Capitol Bulldog Specialty in Bel Alton MD and purchased our 2nd bulldog, Pebbles. I almost immediately began to show Pebbles in AKC Conformation and in May of 2005 was successful in getting her AKC Pointed. We bred Pebbles to CH All-Star's Thirst N. Howl in the Fall of 2005, our first breeding. We had only planned to keep a male from the litter to show, but could not resist when we saw Kirsten, and so the story goes...
Paul has been in the United States Navy for 11 years now. He is currently stationed to the USS North Carolina Submarine. He is a First Class Petty Officer currently workinng as Fire Control Technician, although lately he has being doing more IT work at the command while his sub is being built. He has served his country honorably and I am very proud to have him as my husband. We are *lifers* and hope to spend the rest of his time in the service here in the Hampton Roads area. Although Paul does not show, he is very supportive of my passions and you can usually find him ringside with a camera. I do hope to someday get him in a suit and tie and in the ring as well
I work full time as Quality Assurance Analyst for an large online advertising company ( Dominion Enterprises . I have worked for Dominion (Formerly TraderOnline.com) for almost 5 years now. I am also a full time student at Old Dominion University working on finishing my Bahchelors Degree in Computer Science. Working full time, going to school full time and taking care of the kids doesn't leave me much time for recreation, but I do try to find time to go ride my horses. I am a member of the Merrimac Dog Training Club in Hampton Virginia and the Piedmont North Carolina Bulldog Club and enjoy attending club activities as well. I have always loved animals and do hope someday to follow my dreams of becoming a vet tech.
We are both natives of beautiful St. Joseph Michigan, a cozy little town in the southwest corner of the state, right on Lake Michigan. We miss home very much and as soon as our time in the service is over we will be moving back, only 9 more years to go... the count down is on!
